Hi•

I'm not sure what my name should be yet (because it's no fun using your real name, right?) so for now I'll just be Olga. :) I'm a high school girl of British/Scottish/Bank Robber descent. I can be very indecisive but only when it comes to myself and stupid little things to do with me. I am a lesbian, but I usually don't say so because it's still a label, and a label that leads to even more faceless, soulless offspring at that. I have been known to enjoy debates and really long discussions. I read, watch way too many movies, procrastinate, am a stupendous pack-rat and love music. I live in a small harbour town and have always felt just a little connected to the ocean. I always try to be honest and not stupid, and I really suck at writing profiles. (But I'm not too shabby at writing short prose or essays about things that interest me, or at least I hope.)

If you actually read these, they might make some kind of impression on you.

Action is eloquence.

NARRATOR: Tobias listens to a day's worth of his own words, to see what Michael was referring to...
TOBIAS: [on tape] ... even if it means me taking a chubby, I will suck it up.
TOBIAS: Nothing wrong with that.
TOBIAS: [on tape] Oh, I've been in the film business for a while, but I just can't seem to get one in the can.
TOBIAS: It's out of context.
TOBIAS: [on tape] I wouldn't mind kissing that man between the cheeks.
NARRATOR: ...and he realized there is something distinct about the way he speaks.
TOBIAS: [chuckles] Tobias, you blow hard! :D

"Lolita, light of my life, fire of my loins. My sin, my soul. Lo-lee-ta: the tip of the tongue taking a trip of three steps down the palate to tap, at three, on the teeth. Lo. Lee. Ta. She was Lo, plain Lo, in the morning, standing four feet ten in one sock. She was Lola in slacks. She was Dolly at school. She was Dolores on the dotted line. But in my arms she was always Lolita. Did she have a precursor? She did, indeed she did. In point of fact, there might have been no Lolita at all had I not loved, one summer, an initial girl-child. In a princedom by the sea. Oh when? About as many years before Lolita was born as my age was that summer. You can always count on a murderer for fancy prose style. Ladies and gentlemen of the jury, exhibit number one is what the seraphs, the misinformed, simple, noble-winged seraphs, envied. Look at this tangle of thorns."

"com·ma
n.
1. Grammar. A punctuation mark ( , ) used to indicate a separation of ideas or of elements within the structure of a sentence.
2. A pause or separation; a caesura.

Repeat after me, Mr. Black: I do believe in commas. I do, I do."

"Come, night; come, Romeo; come, thou day in night;
For thou wilt lie upon the wings of night
Whiter than new snow on a raven's back.
Come, gentle night, come, loving, black-brow'd night,
Give me my Romeo; and, when he shall die,
Take him and cut him out in little stars,
And he will make the face of heaven so fine
That all the world will be in love with night
And pay no worship to the garish sun."

"Sounds of laughter shades of life
are ringing through my open ears
exciting and inviting me
Limitless undying love which
shines around me like a million suns
It calls me on and on across the universe"

Primitivism!
I MUST OWN ONE.
Inevitable.
